Bringing professional dance performances into schools to inspire and educate.

Following a highly successful spring tour, PULSE will return for the autumn term! Bookings are now open, and schools can register their interest by clicking here.

PULSE is an exciting dance touring programme for schools across County Durham, developed in partnership with Durham University’s Astronomy Department. 

Taking place over half a day and exploring key aspects of the KS2 curriculum on Earth, Space and Light, PULSE includes: 

  • A high-energy, interactive dance workshop 
  • A professional dance performance delivered live and up close in your school hall 
  • A post-show discussion with the artists and creative team 

PULSE also provides participating schools with: 

  • Pre and post-activity resources for pupils and their teachers to support and extend learning 
  • Optional CPD sessions in September for 2 members of staff
